Check the recognised foods and portions. Everyday measures, such as a bowl or a palm, are adjustable estimates. A photo may miss a dressing or an ingredient.
Your saved meals contribute to a record of food groups and plant variety. Several logged days give you more context than one lunch. Unlogged meals and missing information remain gaps.
A photo is one route, not a requirement. Mix photos, descriptions and barcode entries, and reuse meals you eat often. You can return to a saved meal to check its details.
Recognition, portions and nutrition are estimates. Your record describes what you logged; it cannot establish nutritional completeness or diagnose a deficiency.
Location data is removed before upload. Meal photos are kept for 30 days by default, with an option to delete them on confirmation. Our analytics don’t receive your food or photos.
